die acht hier gezeigten tapestries habe ich aus restbeständen von garnen angefertigt, die farbzusammenstellung ist jedoch nicht dem zufall überlassen. ob ich zurückhaltende oder leuchtende farbtöne zur verfügung habe, die einzelnen squares frei kombiniere oder sie wie hier zu durchdachten, symmetrischen mustern arrangiere, jede kombination soll zuletzt ein ausgewogenes, von heiterer ästhetik erfülltes gesamtbild ergeben.
alle tapestries sind auf weichpavatex aufgezogen. fünf davon müssen noch mit passenden rahmen versehen werden, die ich selbst herstellen werde. diese sind zur zeit noch in der entwurfsphase.
an diesen tapestries habe ich über längere zeiträume und manchmal an mehreren an diesen tapestries habe ich über längere zeiträume und manchmal an mehreren nebeneinander her zwischen 2016 und 2021 gearbeitet. die masse (im dateinamen des jeweiligen bildes zu finden) entsprechen den tapestries ohne rahmen. bei den bereits gerahmten tapestries ist der rahmen in den massen inbegriffen.
the eight tapestries shown here were made from leftover yarn, but the colour combinations are no matter of chance. whether I have muted or bright colours at my disposal, whether I combine the individual squares freely or arrange them into well defined symmetrical patterns, each combination should ultimately result in a balanced picture of cheerful aesthetics.
all tapestries are mounted on soft pavatex. five of them still are waiting for matching frames which I will produce myself. these are currently in the design phase. I have been working on these tapestries over longer periods of time and sometimes on several of them side by side between 2016 and 2021. the indicated size (to be found in the file name of each picture) generally is the one of the unframed tapestry. the indicated size of the already framed tapestries includes the frame.
ho realizzato gli otto arazzi qui mostrati con gli avanzi di filato, ma la combinazione di colori non è lasciata al caso. sia che io abbia a disposizione tonalità cromatiche tenue o vivaci, sia che combini i singoli quadrati liberamente o li disponga in schemi simmetrici ben definiti, ogni combinazione dovrebbe alla fine risultare in un quadro complessivo equilibrato, pieno di estetica allegra.
tutti gli arazzi sono montati su pavatex morbido. uno è già incorniciato e anche gli altri cinque saranno dotati di cornici abbinate di propria produzione. attualmente sono ancora in fase di progettazione.
ho lavorato su questi arazzi per periodi di tempo più lunghi e a volte su diversi di essi contemporaneamente tra il 2016 e il 2021. le dimensioni (che si trovano nel nome del file di ogni immagine) corrispondono agli arazzi senza cornice, mentre le dimensioni indicate per gli arazzi già incorniciati includono la cornice.
