bei meinen illustrativen arbeiten wende ich jene technik an, die mir am geeignetsten erscheint, um einem einzelnen sujet oder einer serie, einem bestimmten anlass, themenkreis oder auch einer problemstellung darstellerisch gerecht zu werden und die angesprochene zielgruppe zu erreichen. die tuschfeder setze ich dabei genauso ein wie farbstifte, kohle, verschiedene kreiden, öl- oder aquarellfarben. die verwendeten malgründe reichen von holz über leinwand bis zu pappe oder handgeschöpften papieren. meine wortzeichen sind mit aquarellfarbe auf transparentpapier gemalt. aus papierresten, entsorgten drucksachen und allen erdenklichen recycelten materialien fertige ich collagen an, die ich manchmal noch weiter bearbeite. die vergänglichen bilder im stil von land art oder trash art habe ich an einem atlantikstrand aus gesammeltem treibgut gestaltet und fotografiert.

in my illustrative work I choose the technique that seems most appropriate to portray a single subject or series, a specific occasion, topic or problem and to reach the target audience. I use the ink pen as well as coloured pencils, charcoal, various chalks, oil paint or watercolour. the painting grounds range from wood and canvas to cardboard or handmade paper. my word signs are painted in watercolour on transparent paper. my collages are created from leftover paper, disposed newspapers and magazines and all kinds of recycled materials. last not least there are fleeting pictures in the style of land or trash art that I assembled from debris collected on an atlantic beach.

nel mio lavoro illustrativo scelgo la tecnica che mi sembra più adatta per rappresentare un singolo soggetto oppure una serie, una specifica occasione, un argomento o problema e per raggiungere il gruppo target.
uso la penna a inchiostro e matite colorate, carboncino, gessetti vari, colori ad olio oppure ad acquerello. le superfici utilizzate per la pittura vanno dal legno e dalla tela al cartone o alla carta fatta a mano. i miei segni di parole sono dipinti ad acquerello su carta trasparente. da ritagli di carta, stampati scartati e tutti i tipi di materiali riciclati, realizzo collage su cui a volte lavoro ulteriormente. le immagini effimere nello stile della land art o trash art le ho create con detriti raccolti su una spiaggia atlantica.
